Has Covid-19 changed our lives?

Has Covid-19 changed our lives?

Covid-19 has unexpectedly entered our lives. It is an unknown and highly contagious virus.

In Spain and Catalonia was ordered the alarm state on March 13th, the people were forced to confine at home. The schools and the shops were closed, the factories stopped working. Only the food shops, pharmacies and essentials services remained open.

The hospitals began to fill up with patients with Covid-19, they were saturated for lack of beds. Anyone expected that this virus to spread so quickly, and then the medical professionals didn’t have enough protective equipment such as masks, hospitals gown, gloves…

Covid-19 is forcing people to stay at home, and this has awakened our creativity not to bore us playing with the family, cooking and teleworking and to maintain social connections using communication tools like skype, zoom…

But Covid-19 has killed a lot of people. It has also destroyed jobs; festivals have been canceled and bars I restaurants have closed their doors. Individual things must be done, and if you do it with other people, it has to be two meters away.

In my opinion, during some months our social behaviors must change. We have to practice social distancing, keeping at least two meters away, from each other and have to avoid hands and kisses. It can be hard.

Last Saturday we could go out to the street to walk. I think there are a lot of people, I thought if the people aren't responsible, maybe this virus would be transmitted again.
